Carmarthenshire County Council Reply to Sheep Festival Complaint
September 5th 2017: Campaign success! I've just received the following e–mail from Carmarthenshire County Council regarding the sheep race due to take place at the Llandovery Sheep Festival:
“Further to your communication regarding your concerns regarding the proposed Sheep Race at the Llandovery Sheep Festival to be held later this month. My colleagues in our Animal Health team have discussed the matter with the event organiser and I can confirm that a race involving live sheep will not be taking place at this year's event. Thanking you for bringing this matter to our attention.”
